In July 2010, the Department of Veterans Affairs estimated that there are over 23 million veterans living in the U.S. today. Thousands more join this group each year as active duty servicemembers transition into civilian life. But what comes next for these men and women?

In honor of Veteran’s Day, we took a look at the jobs and education veterans pursue upon leaving the military. Below, find information on the occupations of veterans, where veterans work, their educational attainment, and just how they’re doing in today’s tough job market (spoiler alert: not all that bad!).
