Picatinny Arsenal provides all the mechanisms needed for the Army's--and other military service's--advanced weapon systems. The base, situated on 6,500 acres, is located in Morris County in the northwest corner of New Jersey, approximately 45 miles west of New York City. The Picatinny Arsenal base is home to 80 military, 256 family members and 4,200 civilian employees.
