Saratoga Springs Naval Support Unit is located between New York's Catskills and Adirondack Mountains in Saratoga Springs--population 28,782--a year-round playground for families. Originally located until 1974 in Scotia, NY, and known as the Naval Administrative Unit (NAU), the installation received its present name in 1999. Saratoga Springs Naval Support Unit employs over 3,000 military and civilians and supports the Navy Nuclear Power Training Unit ten miles away in West Milton, NY.
