Naval Station Everett is located in Everett, Washington, twenty-five miles north of Seattle on the northeast side of Puget Sound. It is the Navy's most modern facility and is homeport to the USS Abraham Lincoln, a Nimitz-class super carrier. Naval Station Everett is often called the "sailor's choice," partly because of the comfortable climate: temperatures range from 34-74 degrees Fahrenheit.

Naval Station Everett: Colleges, Education Opportunities in the Area
Everett has three colleges that are identified as Yellow Ribbon Colleges. They are:
- Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University,
- Everest College, and
- ITT Technical College
Nearby Seattle has 12 Institutions of Higher Learning that are Yellow Ribbon Colleges. They include:
- Antioch University
- Argosy University, and
- The University of Seattle.
In addition, the Navy College Office Everett provides a wide range of educational programs. These include counseling, basic and academic skills, and certification assistance to post-graduate programs.
Everett was named an All-American City in 2002. The Seattle/Puget Sound area provides a variety of recreational activities ranging from camping, hiking, mountain climbing, biking and fishing. All in all, Naval Station Everett is an ideal duty station at which to live, learn, work and relax.
