The Naval Air Station Kingsville is located in South Texas, also known as the home of the famous 832,000 acre King Ranch. Just west of the Gulf of Mexico, in an area that early settlers called the Wild Horse Desert, Kingsville is widely known as the birthplace of American ranching. The base's major training focuses on Air Wing II and its primary weapon systems consist of Training Squadron 21 and Training Squadron 22.
