Keesler's host unit is the 81st Training Wing, and Keesler AFB is also home to the 403rd Wing and the 2nd Air Force as well as the second largest Air Force Medical Center. Keesler's Training Wing accommodates about 40,000 attendees annually, including service members from all branches of service and civilian federal employees.
