Colleges Near Camp Pendleton
The Marine Corps' biggest expeditionary training facility in western United States, Camp Pendleton spans more than 125,000 acres in Southern California. It features training facilities for many active and reserve Marine, Army, and Navy units, as well as national, state and local agencies. Some of its military schools are Field Medical Service School, Marine Corps University, and Assault Amphibian School Battalion. More than 38,000 family members reside on base, but the daytime population swells to about 70,000.
Along with year-round comfortable weather, between 52 and 72 degrees Fahrenheit, the closest city, Oceanside, features 3.5 miles of sunny, public beaches, more than 25 city parks, and many community centers.

As a treating intern, you will gain first-hand knowledge of working in a clinical environment. You will have the opportunity to work at both our campus clinic and our off-site externships located at hospitals, clinics, and designated treatment sites. Working alongside acupuncturists, medical doctors, physical therapists, counselors, and fellow students, you’ll have the opportunity to treat different types of patients, and to put your classroom knowledge into practice.
