Located in Washington, DC, and within close proximity to both Maryland and Virginia, Bolling Air Force Base is a major hub of activity for the U.S. Air Force. Once the location of a military aircraft testing ground, the base is now home to the 11th Wing, a non-flying Air Force wing. The base houses the units that make up some of the most visible elements of the Air Force. These include the Air Force Honor Guard, the Air Force Band, the Air Force Surgeon General, and the Air Force Chief of Chaplains.
