Excelsior College Exams ("ECE")

ECE is another college credit by exam program, but this one is hosted by Excelsior College. The tests are free for those in the military because DANTES has agreed to pay for the tests on your behalf. The general public must pay for the tests themselves. The ECE covers a wide range of subjects from Arts and Sciences to Nursing. ECE are accepted at Excelsior College and many other schools.

Some same test areas for ECEs are: Abnormal Psychology, Anatomy & Physiology, Ethics: Theory & Practice, Foundations of Gerontology, Human Resource Management, and Labor Relations.

Other areas are Microbiology, Organizational Behavior, Psychology of Adulthood and Aging, Research Methods in Psychology, and Statistics. You can learn more by going to the DOD website focused on DSSTs.
