bullet New GI Bill Information

One of the many valuable military benefits available to servicemen and women is the GI Bill. Thousands have been able to further their educations through this bill, and today, this number only continues to grow. Legislators are constantly modifying and improving veteran's education benefits, most recently with the Post 9/11 GI Bill which opened up additional benefits to vets in a big way. When the Post 9/11 GI Bill went into effect on August 1st, 2009, it not only changed veteran's education benefits, but also generated lots of questions. Veterans and active members of the military wonder:

  • Am I eligible?
  • What exactly do GI Bill Benefits cover?
  • What is the Yellow Ribbon Program?
  • Do I still need to verify enrollment with WAVE?
  • Can I enroll in an online school and still get benefits?

And that's just the tip of the iceberg.  +more
