If I Take a Five-month Certification Course, Will I Get Paid the Full-time Rate?

I fall under the old GI Bill. The school I’m going to attend is only for 5 months and it is to get my certification in law enforcement. My question is will I receive the full time student rate or part time rate? The class is Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm. — Robert

The old GI Bill pays up to $2,000 per certification test, but I can’t say for sure whether it will pay for the training you are taking leading up to the test.  For some courses, it will pay while for others, it won’t.  You will have to contact the VA for their approval. If your course is though a college or vocational school, your GI bill may pay for the training.
