No, you probably will lose a lot of your benefits at this point, although you may be able to get one term of classes paid for.
There is a 10-year delimiting period for the Montgomery GI Bill. This means that you have 10 years from your last period of active duty to use the benefits. When that period expires, any remaining benefits are lost (although you can continue to receive benefits until the end of the current term, if it occurs in the middle of a term).
I am currently receiving the GI Bill post 9/11, due to my work hour, if I take a break from school and then go back to school after 2 months, will I still receive the benefit? Do I still have to wait to process the paperwork again?
I guess I’m not sure I understand what you are asking. If you are talking about taking a two-month break during a semester, don’t do it. When you don’t show up for class for a while, your school will contact the VA and that will put you into an overpayment situation and stop your GI Bill payments.
If you are talking about taking a two-month break between semesters, you can do that, and the school will have to submit their paperwork to the VA when you enroll again (which they have to do anyway each time you enroll in a new term).
